Overview

Similar to the MultiPlus-II 2x120V model, the Quattro-II 2x120V is a specialized inverter and charger designed for standard North American 50A 120/240VAC split-phase applications. It has the capability to accommodate two AC inputs and will automatically connect to the active source.

When connected to either shore power or a generator, the Quattro-II 2x120V can receive and transmit both lines of a 120/240V supply, utilizing the full 50A to charge and power AC loads. When linked to a single-phase 120V supply, the L1 input of the Quattro-II 2x120V will accept incoming power for charging and transmission, combining the L1 and L2 outputs to provide a single-phase 120V on each line.

In instances without available AC sources, the Quattro will switch to inverter mode and provide a 120V single-phase output. To power loads on either output, the Quattro-II 2x120V will internally connect lines L1 and L2, ensuring that both sides of a distribution panel receive 120V. However, to access 240VAC, the Quattro must be supplied by a split phase 120/240VAC source, preventing heavy loads like water heaters and air conditioners from draining the battery.

This Quattro-II 2x 120V inverter/charger offers familiar features found in other models, such as PowerControl, PowerAssist, Input Current Limit, dual AC outputs, and the ability to be used in parallel or 3-phase configurations for increased VE.Bus system capability. It is compatible with LiFePO4 batteries and various other battery types.
